cruzdaddy Posted August 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2010 I'm sailing on NCL Jewel next month and am looking to book private excursions in Halifax, Quebec City, Corner Brook and Sydney. Any suggestions?

travelbig Posted August 25, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2010 Halifax, highly recommend http://www.halifaxtaxitours.com/ If you want a van, look at the drivers and see who has a van and request that driver.

maryann ns Posted August 25, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2010 Look for the search feature at the top of the ports page. There are many, many posts concerning this.

Next time I'd like to book a tour to one of the coastal villages with him.
NJresident Posted August 28, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 28, 2010 We were very pleased with Gary Jollymore (garyjollymore@eastlink.ca) for an extremely comprehensive tour last week. His website is http://nova-scotia-van-tours.com .

Idaho Potato Posted August 30, 2010 #9 Share Posted August 30, 2010 Halifax, highly recommend http://www.halifaxtaxitours.com/If you want a van, look at the drivers and see who has a van and request that driver. Would a van be better for 4 adults? I don't think anyone would want to be the middle person in the back seat of a car.

We had 4 in our group. Les with halifaxtours was our driver/guide and he has a van. It was very roomy and comfortable for 4 adults. We would not have done a long tour with 3 in the back seat, either.
