How often do the ships get refurbished???

Just wondering how often the ships get refurbished. We are planning a Mariner cruise in March or April of 2007. By that time the ship will be around 4 years old. Does anyone know when the Mariner will be refurbished?

Thanks

Actually it'll only be about 3 1/2 years old then as I think it first sailed in very late 2003. Very doubtful it will have been refurbished by then, unless it just falls apart. From what I've read here most ships go around 5 years before any kind of major refurbishment is done. Some go much longer, some less. I don't think there's a formula for this, just depends on how the ship holds up over time.
