Is flightseeing a must see/do in Anchorage

I am on a rtw trip and I will visit Anchorage next month, but not on a cruise. If a flightseeing excursion a must see? Since this is a long expensive trip I need to wathc the $, but I don't want to skip a mustsee/do as I doubt I'll return to Alaska anytime soon. Also, which flightseeing excursion is best from Anchorage - glaciers, Denal, etc?

Cost-wise, you're better to drive to Talkeetna and do a Denali flight from there rather than make the fairly long flight from Anchorage. For something less expensive yet, Rust's Aviation has an excellent Knik Glacier flight from Anchorage, with a lakeshore-lodge lunch option.
