I have them since we just returned from that cruise but don't know how to post pictures on here. If you can explain it, I'll try.

Can you email them to me? I'm terrible at explaining things haha ><

Now that I have some extra time, here's pictures of the L-shaped balcony we had on the Carnival Dream.

This was taken from the door. We had a hallway where the closets were.

Bathroom is the door on the left and the balcony is to the right.

Window that you can see out from the desk and the bed. The TV is between the window and the balcony door.

Thank you, I'd love to see your pics!

Marie;

I'm sorry I don't have any pics of the drapes open, but just imagine two huge windows with extra deep window sills and when sitting up in bed...can look right out on the ocean...the windowsills were great for holding all the extra camera cases, video camera cases and normal "stuff" we somehow collect in 7 days...hope these come out ok..don't know how to enlarge and imbed..enjoy the room ..we sure did..

We want to see too! Can you post here?

And Meows...Thank you so much for posting your pics! I really appreciate it and love love love the layout of the cabin. You got that right about the window sill being the collection area of all the 'stuff' that accumulates while on a cruise!

We were on the Valor in March in an "L" shaped room, cabin number 7439. The bed faced the window, and there was a small table and 2 chairs instead of a couch. The REALLY long balcony had a table, 2 chairs and a lounge chair.

That room was completely awesome, I really hope to book another one on our upcoming cruises!

Enjoy

Matt

This may sound like a stupid question but how do you know that these rooms are "L" shaped before you pick them?:o

Thanks to LynneL for emailing these to me:

Note: The L-shaped balcony is from behind the person taking the picture to the guy with the blingy watch and blue plaid shorts. the rest is another balcony that was shared by opening the partition.

Does it have them shaped as "L" on the deck plans? i have just never paid attention to the room configurations before. lol Thanks

Not all ships have them, so that may be why you never noticed them before. Fantasy didn't have them, so it may be that that entire class of ships does not.

I know the Dream does, as the Conquest class.

I have this feeling that once I've seen it....I may never go back. LOL, kinda like after a balcony, you never go back to an inside. Dunno bout that though since we've got another two cruises coming up, one an inside, and one a port hole cabin.

YUP that's how it goes! :) We book as far in advance as possible to make sure we get one now. ;) Our Christmas Cruises are booked over a year in advance just for this reason. (I book all most as soon as they open up) We enjoy the extra balcony space as these Cruises are a bit more crowded and have more kids onboard so a quiet place is really nice when you just need to decompress for a bit. :D Also we had an Aft balcony this past May on the Ecstasy and I must say it was one of the BEST balconys we've ever had. And what a treat on a Fantasy Class ship. :)

Thought I'd share some pics from Victory and Splendor L-shaped. We absolutely LOVE these rooms and always check to see if they're available when booking (last year's B2B on Destiny we had to go back to a "normal" balcony and it just wasn't the same!)
