bajathree Posted August 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2010 I was talking with some Royal reps this past weekend and got some updates in regards to the production shows that were reportedly coming to Freedom Class. I am now being told that they will not be full length production shows like on Oasis and Allure. Something about limitations to the theater being an issue. Instead they will be themed shows that will feature the music from the production show but not a full length Broadway Production.
neptune18 Posted August 25, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2010 The two shows we saw on our recent Freedom cruise were great.

MA cruisers Posted August 25, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2010 I'd be curious about that as well. We were on Freedom two years ago and wonder if the shows are the same.
bajathree Posted August 25, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted August 25, 2010 The shows I am talking about were the Broadway Production shows like on Oasis/Allure that were supposed to be rolled out onto Liberty and Freedom sometime next year after their dry-dock and addition of new amenities. The shows currently on board were the same shows that we saw in 2008 while on board.
karena1 Posted August 25, 2010 #8 Share Posted August 25, 2010 We thought the entertainment on Freedom the first week of August was fabulous. They had a comedian that was a riot the first night, one night they had this amazing magician, one night an impressionist that was really good, and I enjoyed the first production show - it was a broadway show. Did not get to see the production show the last night b/c they were having technical problems and I was too tired to sit and wait. From what I heard on TV the next day, it never got going until over an hour after it was supposed to. But other than that hitch, we thought all the shows were great. The magic show was probably one of the best shows we have seen on cruises in all the years we have been going.
