Early Saver/Cabin Category/Dream

I am booked in an 8D(quad), Verandah, balcony, midship, near the elevators. IMO this is a desirable place to be. January 22, 2011 sailing on the DREAM :D

If an upgrade came along, say to an 8G (they are doing free upgrades to an 8G right now if you look at the past guest rate, substanially more than I paid booking Early Saver (with one price drop already :)), would you take it?

Where on the Dream are the 8G cabins located (I looked and THINK they are aft extended balconies) and what would be the pros and cons of taking an upgrade?

AND, how do you navigate the rules of upgrades, OBC, pricing, etc once the ES rate is no longer available?
