Quayside Shopping Centre

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the 99 Convenience Store in this shopping plaza sells beer and/or booze? If so, what types of beer, any American beer, or what brands? Also if they sell booze, I am guessing you can get rum/flavored rums?

Also, I know it says it is right across the road from Rockley/Accra Beach, but how far is right across the road? Is it a short enough distance that if we go from the beach to the plaza we can easily walk even after buying beer or booze?

Thanks in advance for any information!!

You'd be hard pressed to find any convenience/grocery store in Barbados that DOESN'T sell beer and booze. And rum is pretty much all the locals drink, so yes, there will be rum. The plaza is right on the opposite side of the beach road. You likely need to walk through a hotel property to cut through, I can't picture it exactly.

It's a good sized plaza with lots of stores.

Make sure to go to Chilly Moos ice cream parlor in Quayside. Best ever.

It is literally right across the street. You cross from Accra and walk straight into Quayside.

You will not find any American beer. You will find mostly Caribbean and a couple European beers...namely Becks and Heineken. Like another poster said finding rum/hard liquor will NOT be a problem.:D
