spunkie4 Posted September 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2010 We are doing a back-2-back on the Emerald Princess, leaving on September 5. These cruises were not booked at the same time. In fact the September 5 cruise was booked in January and the September 12 cruise was booked in late July. Both were guarantee balcony. We just received our stateroom assignment for the September 12 cruise on the Emerald. We are delighted we were assigned the same stateroom as for the September 5 cruise on the Emerald. Thank you, Princess, for this wonderful assignment of a stateroom, as well as having the same stateroom for each cruise. Toto2Kansas Posted September 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Great news! It's always best to not have to change cabins on a B2B, that way you can spend turnaround day doing whatever you wish and not having to put everything away again. Congratulations! califgary Posted September 1, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Always good to hear that some thought goes into the cabin assignments! They must have some kind of "flag" on your first itinerary that you are doing B2B.

spunkie4 Posted September 2, 2010 Author #9 Share Posted September 2, 2010 When you booked the second cruise did you request to stay in the same cabin? No, we booked both as balcony guarantee. We use a travel agent and I am sure she mentioned it to Princess. When she called us to confirm our second arrangements, she made a point to remind us we were booking guarantee and may have to move. We were fine with that as we have moved before, but it will be so nice to stay in the same stateroom. It's things like this that keep us returning to Princess. cruiser113 Posted September 2, 2010 #10 Share Posted September 2, 2010 Glad this worked out. Our first 2 cruises with Princess were B2B. We had a Mini and then a suite ( our one and only in 9 criuses) We were on the same deck but it was quite labor intensive to move all our stuff to the new cabin on embarqation. Our ship sailed out of PR so no time to see the Island as we were busy moving things.............but the suite was worth the move. Wish we knew back then what we know now. Missed alot of the suite perks being so new.
