Kona car rental

We have a car rented at the airport in Kona but the rental company does not shuttle. Are there other shuttles from the pier to the airport?

There are no shuttles from the Kona airport to the pier. It is a good half hour drive. You would need to taxi.

 

However, you have other options. Right across the street from the pier is the King Kam hotel. There you can find the offices of Thrifty and Dollar. It is much more convenient. If they have no cars available, try Enterprise. Their office is about a ten minute drive from the pier. YOu call them, and they will send someone to pick you up. These are much better options than the airport.

Always, consider the King Kam hotel for car rentals first. Picking up at the airport, cuts into your already too short port time. :)
