Theme Nights

Never sailed NCL, so looking for advice, do they have theme nights on board ship

and do people dress accordingly for that theme, ie fancy dress,we are doing a 17 night Panama Canal

The general theme nights include a formal night, where you can dress formally if you so choose (it IS optional, you can choose not to and remain resort casual). There are other fun themed nights, like caribbean night, 70's night, 50's sock hop night and a host of others depending on your itinerary.
