Just planned on having my wedding on the carnival paradise out of Long Beach in June 2011.

Any pictures, contacts, information please please send my way. I have heard good and bad things, but we are planning on getting married on the day of embarkation to include non-sailing guests. Also did any of you use a TA or just did it all on your own?

Please Help! :)

My understanding is that if you're getting married on board the ship before embarkation, with non-sailing guests, you must book through The Wedding Experience, which your TA can explain to you. This is a company that contracts with several cruise lines to plan on board weddings. It's also a separate cost from the cruise. This is especially true if you want an on board reception. Congratulations!

I recently booked my wedding on the carnival paradise for 9/9/11 leaving from long beach. I booked the wedding through carnival's wedding department and they assigned me a consultant with the wedding experience. I havent spoke to the consultant yet but they should be able to help you with all the details. Carnival sent me lots of options and upgrades available once I booked my wedding. Full payment was required to book the wedding. Let me know how your wedding goes. Congrats and good luck!

How's your wedding planning going? I am just about 2 months away!! And yet I feel I have sooo much to do! I just finalized the guest count and we have about 65 people. 40 Sailing and 25 non sailing. A lot more than we expected, but soo excited.

Right now I am trying to decide on which type of favors or decorations, if any. Have you thought about this yet? It's hard with the restrictions on what we can and cannot bring! So much to do and so little time!

Hope your planning is going well. Love to hear about it.
