bobrobb Posted February 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2005 Hi all..I am booked on the 3/ 9 sailing of Lirica and have been reading everyone else's boards because I am the only passenger on that sailing (apparently). I have heard many reference to the "European experience" when talking about MCS. Just what do people mean by this? I have been to Europe a couple of times and while I have had some really outstanding experiences ( particularly in the Czech Rep.) I have no idea what people are talking about. The things that comes to mind for me as a "European experience" is wait staff that treat you like they are doing you a favor by serving you in as slow and unconcerned manor as humanly possible. I thought this a good general question __________________

MikeWitte Posted February 14, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2005 My first European experience was finding that the toilet was just a hole in the floor of the bathroom with no proper flush, just a piece of chain hanging down from the ceiling - gave you a shower when you pulled it if you didn't step back smartly.
