Majesty in Ft. Lauderdale 2/13

I was in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend and saw the NCL Majesty just off Port Everglades on Sunday about 4PM. Anyone know why? I'm guessing a medical emergency?

She is currently cruising from Charleston SC to Grand Cayman etc. So she would be passing by this area on Sunday. Was she in dock or just passing by slightly off shore?

We left the Port of Miami on CCL Victory 1-30-05 and the Majesty was just offshore heading south.

I think it was a medical emergency. My boyfriend works on the ship and he and I were on the phone at the time that they made an announcement, and he said something like, "we're docking? probably a medical emergency"... He never got back to me as to whether or not they actually docked, though; however, it could be that they were just passing by, because I know they tend to sail just off the coast of FL, as that's when he gets cell phone service and gives me a call. :)

The Majesty stopped for about an hour about a half mile off Port Everglades. Definately not just passing by! One of the side doors was open too.

On the way down the coast heading South, from about Jupiter inlet to Miami, Majesty is within sight of land - I'd guess at least four miles - close enough to see the buildings but not really close enough to see anything else on shore.
