Celebrity lowers cruise fare on Eclipse

I checked celebrity.com last night and I saw my cruise fare went down $100 so I called and they made the adjustment. Yeah, every little bit helps!

The cruise is for Dec 11, 2010 Western Carib on Eclipse.:p

I had read some posts that said celebrity wouldn't make adjustments anymore so I was happy I had no problem.

Congrats! Did X give you OBC or refund the difference? Would have liked to sail on Eclipse this year but preferred the S. Carib itinerary on Summit. There's always next yr. though.

Since I haven't paid yet, Celebrity just lowered the amount I need to pay on October 2nd (final day to pay)

Tweets - make sure your date hasn't changed. I'm on the same cruise and my date changed to 9/27 - 75 days out instead of the 70 we were originally quoted. Celebrity states that this was only supposed to change for the bookings after 8/1, but a computer glitch caused all bookings to change. Although I could fight them for the extra five days, I don't see the worth and am simply going to pay when they want. I tried to get a price drop on my C2 cabin Friday and was told I could by one CSR. When my TA called to get it done, she was told that category wasn't included in the price drop, and they refused to give it to me. I'm glad you were able to get yours.
