heymonkey89 Posted September 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2010 Just got an email to upgrade from an inside cabin to an ocean view for $70 per cabin. It does however take me from deck 7 to deck 1 but I'm getting a cabin that is 230 sq ft. instead 185 sq ft. We made the switch since there are 3 of us sharing the cabin. Only the family OVs are 230 s.f. .. is this what you got, if so you also got split bathrooms. Awesome if thats where you are moved. Regular OVs are 220 s.f. heymonkey89 Posted September 14, 2010 Author #8 Share Posted September 14, 2010 OK so it seems I can also get a 6L which still is 230 sq. feet but doesn't have the extra bath. Not sure what to do. I have a 4 year old. I wonder how much space is taken from the room to have the extra bathroom.

CruisinManiac Posted September 14, 2010 #11 Share Posted September 14, 2010 I didn't know that Carnival had this type of stateroom. We had a split bath (shower/sink in one and toilet/sink in the other) on Disney. They were narrow, but nice if more than one person is getting ready. The second bath will take up more room, but I'd still take it.
