How are Portunas points calculated?

Can anyone tell me how the Portunus system works? How many points do you earn for each day/night of a cruise?

You get 10 points per night on a P&O ship and 5 points per night on Princess and (I think) Ocean Village.

 

Ruby Tier is 1-500 points ....5% discount on board

Sapphire Tier is 501-1500.....7.5% discount on board

Gold Tier is 1501 point and more.....105 discount on board

One small point to add.....you don't get your discount until you've used up any on board credit you may have been given !!! :)
