OV Deck 2 vs. Inside Deck 8 - Cabin Quandry

What would you do? Currently we have an inside cabin on Deck 8 booked for our upcoming Radiance cruise. Now it seems that I have the option to upgrade (at the same price) to an Oceanview (porthole), but it's on Deck 2. I've never been on Radiance, and it looks like Deck 2 must contain a lot of crew space, and the medical facility. But, our cabin would have other cabins directly above it.

Any suggestions? I like Deck 8 being closer to the pool, Windjammer, etc, but having a window would be nice. Would being on Deck 2 totally stink? Help!

Been in both. I would take deck 2 for the OV. Nice to be able to look out the window to see the weather and to have natural light in the room. Also if you have tenders it is real handy being on deck 2. There was no problem getting an elevator and you are pretty much the first ones in it!
