Holiday Inn Question

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We are going on a July cruise and are looking for pre(2days) and post(1day) hotels to stay at. I have holiday inn points that I can use, but I have never been there to know if they are good hotels and locations.

Any advise on if the HIs are good or if I should just pay for better places.

Thanks all

There is a Holiday Inn Express in the Condado area and an Intercontinental hotel by the airport. I wanted to use my points but read a lot of negative reports about the Holiday Inn Express and saw it from the outside, pretty dated, glad we did not stay there. We ended up using Marriott points they have some very good properties and on the beach.

We spent a night there in Nov 2005 when we cruised on The Adventure of the Seas.

Nice & clean place....beds were so nice. It's on a very narrow 1 way street but we had a bus take us there from the airport & to the pier as it was a "group" booking for the cruise.

I would book again...the Condado area is quite nice.
