Independence Spa Questions

Getting either vague or "don't know" answers from RCI re: spa on Independence. Suspect, I'll get answers here faster?:)

 

If I understand correctly, there are no Thermal Suites on this class of ship.

 

Deck plans show Solarium whirlpools and sauna & steam rooms in the Spa as fairly close to one another?

 

Questions: Are lockers available in the spa area? Are robes available for use while in the Spa? Are showers located near the sauna & steam rooms?

Hi Martha how are you doing ?

 

Yes there are lockers in the ladies changing room area, keys available from reception. You will also find the showers, steam room and sauna in the changing area.

Robes- I have seen people wearing robes while waiting for spa treatments so would assume they are provided. Aren't you Platinum by now ? you should get them in your cabin:)

On the Jewel I heard that fun Odyessy bartender we had is

no longer with RCI.

 

Will be platinum after the Indy cruise next Jan/Feb. 4 cruises only on RCI.

 

I do normally get

a robe in my cabin when I ask my steward first day. If not, if my friend

from RI is aboard, she shares one of hers from her Grand Suite. So I'm all

set there and will just schlepp it to the Spa if none available there.

 

The Indy itineraries next year out of Southampton look great. I'm doing the 01/26 sail.

Hi Martha, yes I knew about Angela, I'm in contact with her, so sad.

RCI have lost a valued member of staff there. She was brought back from leave early for the Jan. Suez canal Member's cruise because so many asked for her. We will miss seeing her face on Brilliance.

 

We will probably just miss you in Jan as we are looking at the 8th Jan sailing, not booked yet, just price watching, as you know we can take it or leave it:).
