Grannycb Posted September 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Are there a number of good vendors at the port for snorkeling and or beach tours? We've booked in advance in the past so I didn't paid attention. On our last attempted visit we missed the port and lost our deposit. It wasn't too bad as there were just two of us. This time we will be a party of six. Any ideas?
Capt_BJ Posted September 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2010 when there in May there was a large pack of them ready to pounce as soon as you exited the tender landing or for snorkeling just walk to Eden or Sunset House . . .

Plenty of open spaces in the group we were with so it shouldn't be a problem (depending on the number of ships in port that day, we had 4 total)
chasm4u Posted September 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Not really, My wife and i tried walking around finding somthing to do. All we found out is that Grand Cayman was the boringest place we have ever been. Unless you lik ejewelry stores adn overpriced shops and/or mainstream traps like margerettaville. Nothing there, very DULL!
m steve Posted September 23, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2010 on cruise ships and then spet 2 1 week visits. There's enough to do there. The shops are expensive as well as restaurants compared to most islands but it's fun just to wander around town. You might enjoy the Guy Harvey restaurant close to the dock for lunch and drinks.
