Crusin Karen Posted September 24, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 24, 2010 I can tell you right now: if you get "The Cruiser" you will never want any other "foo foo drink" in your entire life. I would never think of paying that kind of $ for a drink (plus tip :() but did it "one time" (twist my arm) for the casino chip. We met the casino manager/host whom we have been on 3 ships with and he comped us a drink and what do you think I ordered? :p It is SO GOOD! ENJOY! And hope you win at the casino too! :D

If I am paying for alcohol, I want to taste something other than fruit. If you take the chip off, 3.75 is a great drink price on a cruise :)
GRAMMYTAN Posted September 24, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 24, 2010 The Cruiser is one of my favorite Carnival cocktails, similar to Sex on the Beach. Also, try a Miami Vice on Carnival - half Pina Colada and half Strawberry Daquiri.

zmatt Posted September 24, 2010 #10 Share Posted September 24, 2010 So is it a 5 dollar chip or what is match play exactly?
s407o Posted September 24, 2010 #11 Share Posted September 24, 2010 you dont actually get a $5 chip you get a match play, so if you play blackjack you would place that with your normal bet and if you win you win the normal payout for a $10 bet. But you have to play it as a match. You can't use it by itself. Clear as mud? Hope that explains it.
klmorg Posted September 24, 2010 #12 Share Posted September 24, 2010 So is it a 5 dollar chip or what is match play exactly? You have to match the $5 chip with your own $5, and play it on table games.

Also, try a Miami Vice on Carnival - half Pina Colada and half Strawberry Daquiri. I've never had a Miami Vice. I keep promising myself I will try one because everyone raves about it. But I am confused; do you MIX the 2 drinks together or just kind of sip from whatever side/drink you want?

I have never seen it seperated. Not really into sugary drinks, but this one is real good.
Crusin Karen Posted September 25, 2010 #16 Share Posted September 25, 2010 I know, I have seen THOUSANDS of Miami Vice's. Just not sure if you are supposed to mix the "2 parts" together or just sip from wherever your straw is, red or white part!
RizzoLee Posted September 25, 2010 #17 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Hmmm... doesn't sound half bad! My DH usually spends his $ in the casino, I can drink, and he can use my chips. It sounds like a 'win win'. Mind the pun. :)
