OntCruise Posted September 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Going on our first family Royal cruise in March. My son will be 15 at the time of sailing, but his friend will be 14 (just 2 months shy of his 15th birthday). Will they be able to participate in the same teen club activities? Their preference is the 15-17 group as opposed to the 12-14 group. Thanks!

galavant3 Posted September 25, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2010 I think you will get a variety of responses based on each person's personal experience. We have never had a problem with one child being moved up to the next age category. Typically, they'll ask that the younger child remain with his age group for a period of time (not that long) just to be certain there aren't any obvious behavior problems. When friends are vacationing together, it only makes sense that they'll want to participate in the same activities. I really do believe that they want the kids to have a good time!
