evesway coaches

Apologies if I repeat what others have already said, but I have travelled with Eavesway from Bolton to Southampton several times a year for the past few years.

Coach usually leaves Bolton nowadays at 7:45 from stand Z of Moor Lane bus station - the stand furthest away from Bolton market, at the Moor Lane end. You are asked to be there 15 minutes before departure. Your luggage will be loaded in the coaches hold, the next time you see it will be outside your cabin on the ship - so keep anything you need before then in your hand luggage.

Usually, you will drive direct to Southampton. Occasionally however, there will be a feeder coach which takes you to Knutsford services on the M6 where you will be transferred to another coach with other passenger (your luggage will be transferred for you), or your coach may pick up other passengers there or elsewhere. Apart from this, the coach will only make one stop en route, for lunch at a motorway service station. Ther will be a toilet on the coach.

At Southampton, you will be dropped off at the cruise terminal for check in. Your luggage will be transported direct to the ship and to your cabin - it may take some time to arrive, so don't panic if it is not there when you arrive there, it will be eventually.

Happy cruising.
