happycruzer Posted March 3, 2005 #26 Share Posted March 3, 2005 HI greenday. in response to your questions. There is always lemonade/orange in fountains at the buffet restaurant along with coffee, hot water with various teas, iced water,& crushed ice, We initially were purchasing bottled water to take on our excursions until we noticed other passengers filling their sports bottlles etc with 75% ice and 25 % water to take off ship. the ice melted slowly giving them lovely cold water throughout the day and it was free. From memory I'm sure it was 21 that was the limit for gambling although we didn't have to worry about being asked to prove our age lol, so I'm not 100% sure on that one. As for your food all of our meals were divine, our waiter made daily suggestions to us , also if you ask for bruscetta on the first night you will recieve it every night, again divine, (its not on the menu but they will provide it happily. Can I also suggest that you have a look at the reviews for the Atlantica (sister ship) under the name Vincent Finelli, Their reviews are EXCELLENT and give you their choices from the menu every evening, the descriptions are so good you can almost taste the food. I'm sorry I haven't mastered the art yet of giving you a link to anything but you will def find it in reviews, along with my own under s.hynes. Enjoy !
