May I ask if there was a "Taste of India" special meal (perhaps $15) offered once during the cruise? If so, where did it take place? [On the Spirit, "Taste of India" is sometimes offered in the Asian restaurant (family-style, sit-down, at night) and sometimes in the MDR (at mid-day, buffet style).]

 

On the Sun, Taste of India was offered on the 9/20 Dover/Dover cruise and again on the 10/4 ta. It was held in the East Meets West steakhouse. It was held at noon both times ($15) and was outstanding. I went both times.

We recently completed a TA on the Sun. We were in 0066 right on the stern. The room was quiet enough for us. I don't think your baby will make enough noise to bother anybody.

 

Thank you for your reply! I was concerned that our room is located right underneath of the Garden cafe, game, restaurant, sundesk ...so the noise could be too loud for the baby ( and us ) to sleep. We are early sleepers :)

 

 

Did you have the soot issue at your balcony?

We were in 0067 recently. Soot was not a big deal and wasn't every day. Bigger problem was seagulls poaching food from cafe and eating on your railing.
