Table For Two

We have opted for anytime dining on our upcoming Freedom cruise. We are looking forward to some much needed time together as he is active duty AF. Is there a way to get a table alone for one of our nights of dining? How do you go about asking or is it taboo?

Thank you for any info you can share with me!

I have read with anytime dining you shouldn't have a problem.. just tell them when you get there that you would like to sit alone;)

We've had a table for 2 on every cruise we've done.... both anytime dining, and designated dining.... never had a problem!

If you're on a designated time, go see the maitre'd as soon as you board the ship... he should be able to accommodate you without a problem!

On anytime dining, you might have to wait a few minutes for a table.... but you'll get one!

We've dined alone for 3 meals every day...... never had to share!

Have a great cruise... you and DH deserve some quality time!!:)

With anytime dining just show up and ask for a table for 2. You may have to wait if none are available but we got one without a problem.

PS Thanks to your husband for his service and to you also for the lonely wait at home. Enjpy your cruise.

On the Glory in May & Victory in August we did YTD and always had a table for two. Here's a tip, go in and look around the dining room (it will be upstairs) find a table for two that you like and request that table number. On our cruises we always sat at the opposite end from where the Maitre'd is, there were two tables all by themselves on both cruises. (by the back entrance). Great spot to see the show too!

Not sure how the Freedom is laid out but if you don't ask for a specific table, you may get a table for 2 that is 6 inches away from the next table. Not quite the same thing.
