Sticky Tack for door decorations...

Use Sticky Tack reusable adhesive if you decorate your stateroom door. It comes as a flat sheet and is non-toxic. You just pull off a piece of the Sticky Tack (feels and looks like Silly Putty), soften it between your fingers and stick a small piece behind each corner and press firmly to the door. To remove, just gently roll it off the surface...comes off clean leaving absolutely no residue. I found my Sticky Tack in Wal-mart, works great.

Yes, works great. On metal doors I use the little flat strips of magnetic tape (also at Walmart in fabric/craft area).

add my endorsement of this product as well...I used it on the cabin door on my last cruise instead of double-sided tape, and I was very pleased with it

Sorry to rain on the parade but the 3m stick strips are much easier and stronger than sticky tack.

 

They are the ones with little pull tabs that come right off when done. You can get them in double sided Velcro to hang door signs.
