SiBreeze Posted October 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2010 Does anyone know the approximate cost of a taxi from the Quebec City Airport to the cruise ship terminal in Quebec? About how long does it take? Would it be better to take a taxi or the Princess transfer? Many thanks in advance. :)
Bowie MeMe Posted October 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2010 We went to the YQB a week ago Sat. to board the Crown Princess. The airport is modern but very small so you literally walk through customs and through the door to the taxi line. One consideration is that the planes coming in are pretty small and so not huge congestion factor. the ride to the Fairmont Chateau (center of upper town) took about 25 mins and was a flat rate @$35 per car. Canadian and American exchange rate almost equal. Will need some Canadian money and the easiest way is the bank ATM just before the door that leads to taxi line. I did hear complaints about having to wait for Princess transfer but the plane and luggage did not arrive until 2AM! It is pretty cool up in these parts-- bring the long sleeves and forget the short sleeved things. HAGC
Master98 Posted October 4, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2010 Tha flat rate is 32.50 CAD Approx 25 minutes Taxis are always available. So taxi would be faster than Princess transfer.
nimiq Posted October 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2010 I am from Montreal but have been to Quebec often and it does take max 25min. Have a nice cruise but you should have come in a day earlier and enjoy the old town of Quebec so beautiful. sea ya Eric
