Sky question about Oslo deck

Hello everyone,

Have been booked on a April, 2011 Sky family cruise.

We originally booked small inside cabin catagory K 8337 and 8338.

We decided to upgrade to catagory F oceanview cabins on the Oslo deck, cabins 6209 and 6210.

Oslo looks like an in between deck with no elevator (no problem for my family).

Can anyone who has cruised on Sky on the Oslo deck tells us abut this deck and location of the cabins?

Any problems with this deck?

Besides the Oceanview vs Inside we also liked the increase in size from a very small 121 sqft cabin to a somewhat more reasonable 149sq ft cabin.

It is also hard to tell where these cabins are located. NCL told my TA they were close to mid-ship.

The NCL brochure shows it kinda toward the front of the ship. Since we are not exactly sure of location , are the cabins above or below any major noise areas? Port holes or picture window?

Since there was only a $50pp increase we decided to change.

Thanks for any assistance.

Oslo Deck cabins are usually very quiet on both the Sun and Sky. The Oceanviews on this deck have picture windows. The only problem with this deck is access, stairways to the International Deck is it.

This photo shows best where the Oslo Deck is located. If you look at the open Promenade Deck to the right, and follow it to the left, you'll see oval holes cut into the side of the ship. One deck above the oval holes is the Oslo Deck (level with the bottom of the lifeboats). Above the Oslo Deck is the International Deck (level with the top of the lifeboats). As you can easily see, the Oslo Deck cabins have windows and not portholes....
