Not a dumb question! The hump cabins are on the part of the ship that "bumps" out on the S class ships, if you look at the deck plans of the S class you'll see the side bumps out a little in the middle. The balconies are angled and have more space than the cabins not on the hump.

Hump cabins are cabins that increase sexual desire.... just kidding ;)

 

If you look at the S-Class ships, you'll see a few cabins that are are on a slant or jet out from the main part of the ship. These are the hump cabins.
