Snorkelling, any others apart from Sapphire or Coki?

Looking for a good snorkelling beach, other than Sapphire or Coki please.

It would also need to have chairs to rent, some shade and a bathroom.

 

If it is quite close to Crown bay that would be even better - thank you :)

This site seems pretty good for general info. Secret Harbor is known for good snorkeling - you could do a search on it.

 

Morningstar is nice but the snorkeling isn't as good as Secret Harbor, although it is a lot closer.

Is Sapphire or Secret Harbour nearer by taxi from Crown Bay?

Not sure what map you have, but here's one:

Crown Bay is to the left of Charlotte Amalie. If you go to the right then you will see secret harbor (in the little thing that looks like "fingers" sticking out), then on up a little is Sapphire (by red hook). Hope that helps.

Thank you, I did see a similar map, but it's hard to tell which is nearer without knowing the roads. I guess there isn't too much difference in the distance. :)

Ideally I would like a beach where DH and DS (14) can snorkel and DD (9)and I can relax in water or on sand. A bathroom would be a great plus too.

 

What would your best recommendation for a beach be?
