So Excited...Radiance of the Seas arrives in Tampa tomorrow morning

Recommended Posts

We went down to Ikea today and saw it at the port. Now we're really looking forward to cruising on it in December.

I am yet to get down to Ikea....did you have Swedish meatballs....YUM!!!

BTW....Terminal 3 is absolutely fantastic...very calm and organized with parking just across the street....much nicer terminal than where Carnivore docks.

We ate on the way down, so no Swedish meatballs for us, but they sure looked good p :). Next time we are going to try them. Ikea is massive, it took us about 3 hours to go throug it.

Glad to here the terminal is good. Our TA told us we should do valet parking because of something about train tracks or something. Can you give any recommendation as to if it is necessary?

I don't know why valet would be necessary at all...it's so easy....drive up...drop your bags....pull across the street into the parking garage...park...and walk back across the street to the terminal. The only tracks there are are for the trolley/street-car and you just walk/drive right over them....you can even see them in one of the pix above.

This is our first cruise and we leave out of Tampa. Where can you park when you are dropping off your bags?

Where is the best place to park?

Thanks!!

Terminal 3 has a loop you just pull right up and there are porters there to take your bag,

If you valet they will take your car from there or you can simply drive across the street and park in the parking garage... We prefer the valet, but they both are very easy (I am just excited at that point and want to get on the ship)

I was one of the 2200 passengers disembarking the Radiance yesterday. We had a wonderful repositioning cruise through the Panama Canal!!

I hope you post a review. I would love to hear about it. I'm taking my first cruise on the Radiance soon!
