Safe's in room? - AOS

Hello All!

Quick question: Are there safe's in the AOS cabins?

We're going on 4 independent excursions that require cash payment (Winifred, Joyce Prince, Eli, Frank's Tour) and I don't feel comfortable carrying that much money around. If no safe, do you recommend possibly getting $$ in the casino the night before?

Thanks so much.

As far as I know there are room safes in each room. We had one on the AOS D1 category last fall.

I just sent RCI an e-mail asking if inside cabin 4515 & 4517 on Soveriegn had a safe and was told they did not, so I guess it depends on the ship.

It must vary by ship. I remember in June 2001 when we were on the Rhapsody, that we had a safe in our inside cabin.

The poster asked about Adventure. My answer only applies to Voyager and Radiance class ships. I don't know much about any of RCI's other ships.

By the way, e-mailing customer service with the safe question probably resulted in a 50% chance of them getting it right considering there are only 2 possible responses to the question. :)

I thought that all of the Radiance and Voyager class cabins had safes and that only on the older ships were there some rooms that did not have a safe. We have always had a safe in our room and have cruised in a variety of cabins from inside to suite. No problem about getting cash from the casino, but if you're getting a large sum, it would be nice to have someplace to keep it safely until your excursions.
