BMurph1998 Posted October 11, 2010 #26 Share Posted October 11, 2010 Thanks for posting!!! Worked for me with IE 8. We don't have a cruise booked right now but have been watching prices and can't believe I had not noticed that on the new site it did not show cabin categories!!! Traveler353 Posted October 11, 2010 #27 Share Posted October 11, 2010 OP: Thank you for your post. It explains why I have been unable to access the new booking engine. I was wanting to look at both to compare the differences. I have been able to only access the old system sense I used Host Mach's link the other day. jandjfun Posted October 11, 2010 #28 Share Posted October 11, 2010 The link worked for me. I do have a question about ES though. (Not to hijack the thread) but since my catagory is apparently sold out, if another catagory (higher than mine) goes down in price lower than what I paid for my lower catagory, does that mean I can get an upgrade for free? This is the first time I have booked ES so I am really confused. Thanks. :D

beachseasand Posted October 11, 2010 #31 Share Posted October 11, 2010 Thank you so much. The link worked and now I wont mess with my cookies for a while. I like to check once or twice a day and it is so much easier to do with the old system. The 1A you could not even check.
Rosefloater Posted October 11, 2010 #32 Share Posted October 11, 2010 I just received copy of below message from Carnival: "With the release of the new booking engine on Carnival.com guests booked on the Early Saver are now unable to check the category rates to see if they’ve dropped. Marketing has drafted a message that is now posted on Carnival.com with a link for guests to access the old booking engine. This link is also in a FAQ and on the Early Saver landing page. Once the guest accesses the old booking engine, they will have received a cookie and will no longer have access to the new engine unless they clear the cookie. If they have any questions or problems, they can contact eSolutions at 1-800-845-2599." ken It works! Here's the link http://www.carnival.com/cms/find_a_cruise/findcruiseA.aspx?cid=DM_Post_39 I hate the new Carnival website. Thanks for the link! serene56 Posted December 30, 2010 #37 Share Posted December 30, 2010 I am trying to figure out why people are using that link to look at prices when they can check this site-- without all the clicking http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=27201754&postcount=
