Cross reference to our review entitled: "Glory - Not Carnival Standards"

From your review...

"Our one main concern about The Glory is that she does not live up to many of the high standards Carnival has been trying to achieve. There seems to be a "disconnect" throughout the ship as to service - sometimes it is great; many times abysmal. For sure, the vast majority of the crew is not proactive toward the guests. This cruise was simply not what we've come to expect from Carnival. "

My response...

That was one of the problems I had with my Carnival cruise, amongst the many. Actually your Carnival cruise sounded like an exact carbon copy of my cruise on the Destiny. The only place that was good on the ship was the dining room staff and the food there. The rest of the service was downright awful and the stateroom was filthy and beaten up. No one at Guest Relations seemed to care either so my response to that was... go elsewhere with my money. Princess started getting as spotty after Carnival bought them out so I said to hell with Carnival Corp and now I sail NCL and haven't looked back since.
