Radiance - Hurricane Paula - Sea Conditions?

Friends of ours are currently on Radiance. We heard from them this afternoon when they were docked in Costa Maya. The weather has not been as bad as all of us thought. They've had no problems. There are winds and high waves, but not extreme. This is a small storm. Hurricane winds only extend out 15 miles. They left this evening for Belize and sea no problems.

Very surprising news, but very welcome news. We join them Saturday on Radiance.

Hi Rick & Deidra - Thanks so much for the reply. The storm is very compact, and I'm very glad it is not impacting your friends' cruise.

Keeping fingers crossed for the next six weeks.

Thanks again

That's great news your friends made it down no probs but ..... I'm wondering how the ships going to make it back ??!!

If Paula is supposed to be turning towards Cuba in the next Day or so isn't that around the same time the ship will be going through that area on the way back to Tampa ?? I'm on this Sat sailing as well so I hope this all works out for everyone !!
