Thanksgiving Cruises

Modena

Recommended Posts

Not really, they will have turkey and fixings and lots of kiddos.

That is about it. :D

There will be Turkey and lots of families on board.

Depending on whether you are in a port that day, there could be many places closed.

EDIT:Just looked and you are not sailing in US so that won't happen. ;)

We were sailing US port on Thanksgiving.

We are from the UK and have just realised that we will be on the Independence when it is Thanksgiving in the US.

Do RCI usual do anything special to celebrate Thanksgiving on board?

Their website lists:

-Thanksgiving Family Activitis

-Thanksgiving Arts & Crafts for Kids

-Special Decorations for Adventure Ocean

-Special Thanksgiving Menu

-Thanksgiving Storytime

Christmas decorations start going up Thanksgiving night after dinner sometime. We were in the Nassau during that week, and people were starting to buy Christmas trees. We saw them on top of cars/mini-vans, but never saw the tree lot/store.
