On Carnival's website you can add the travel insurance at any time to your cruise. I wonder if after 1/1 you can add the cancel for any reason there.

You can only get Cancel for Any Reason if you purchase prior to (up to) Final Payment. ken

With all the private plans I know of you can only buy Cancel For Any Reason coverage within a few days of your initial deposit. I don't see that restriction in the Carnival press release.

 

This is the only restriction to it that I saw.....

 

The plan is administered by BerkelyCare, a recognized leader in travel insurance. Prices begin at $49 per person and vary by cruise cost. Guests must purchase the plan no later than the final payment date for the cruise to be eligible for the “cancel for any reason” benefit.
