:) We just booked this cruise thanks to an awesome discount from a local casino. This will be our 2nd cruise. Looking forward to the trip and meeting some other gay fellows...and lesbians...Cesar always likes dancing with lesbians.

We're a bilingual (Spanish and English) couple. Dan's 45, originally from Wisconsin. Cesar's 34, originally from Guatemala.

See you in late February!

Funny that we were just now looking at shore excursions when I got the notification from Cruise Critic to check the board.

We're on Deck 10, in 10676. Or maybe it's 10767? One of those!

Dan

You're near us. We're in the back corner on deck ten, at 10726.

Awesome! Maybe we can smuggle some of Cesar's (in)famous Guatemalan guacamole and chips on board!

I bet you'll have an awesome view from the back of the ship. Very nice.

Are you guys packing much in the way of dressy clothes? The only cruise we've been on before was on Celebrity. We took along dress pants, dress shirts and ties for the "formal night." We were fine without suits or sport coats. I wonder if we even need ties for this cruise.

Thanks and looking forward to meeting you all.

We're not bringing ties this time. NCL is way more casual than Celebrity and while there is one "optional" dressy night, we find most people don't dress up.

We have had an aft room on a few ships and I love it. It's quiet, the view is cool and you're not close to high-traffic areas.

Looking froward to seeing you on the ship.

Hi Dan, My first cruise was on NCL Epic in September. NCL is total casual, you need long pants for the dining rooms in the evenings. I am bringing causual pants. The atmosphere is always relaxed onboard NCL - thats what I like about them (mind you I have nothing else to compare to!) 20 days and counting!

Thanks! Sounds like a plan then. Casual it is.

Our first cruise was on Celebrity. On the formal night, there were some people wearing tuxedos, some wearing suits, some with shirt and tie like us, and some wearing nice pants and nicer casual short-sleave shirts. Even they weren't super-strict about the dress code. My guess is they're not as strict on these matters as they used to be. A good thing!

Enjoy the weekend,

Dan
