caribbeansun Posted December 4, 2010 #51 Share Posted December 4, 2010 Guess it depends on who is serving you as I've not found this to be the case with the martinis or single malt scotchs. I will say that O has slipped in one devaluation - their scotch nosing which was 4 pours (2 different Highland Park and 2 different The Macallan) in Feb/10 is now just 3 pours in Oct/10 and the price is the same. I heartily agree with you about the size of the pours in Martini's. Very skimpy. In fact, the couple of times I have gone to the 5Pm 241 and received what they call a double for the price of a regular drink I found the double to be the size of a normal drink on other ships. SunDapple Posted December 4, 2010 #52 Share Posted December 4, 2010 Their concierge room service which is priced about the same as another cruise line is not as good. There are no fresh room flowers, fruit bowl, evening canapés, binoculars, free laundry bag of clothes, or the ability to order from the lunch and evening MDR dining room menu into your state room. Are you saying that these extra niceties used to be available for concierge cabins but are no longer? Or that they never existed on O for concierge but they are on other cruise lines? Sorry, just trying to figure out what your disappointment was.

wripro Posted December 4, 2010 #54 Share Posted December 4, 2010 On Marina concierge class is a total waste of money imo. The only reason to book it on the smaller ships is the extra reservations in the alternative restaurants. You don't get that on Marina.
Rainbow3fe Posted December 5, 2010 #55 Share Posted December 5, 2010 The last time we cruised with Oceania, we loved the sushi. We ate it on our balcony before getting ready to dress for dinner.
