Western Caribbean on valor! Oh crap a storm!!

Hey everybody. We are leaving on the 7th on valor and happened to see that tropical storm tomas was headed towards Belize and Honduras. Should I expect rough seas or changes in itinerary? I am a diamond member with rccl but have recently fell in love with carnival. I'm used to the way rccl does things but am not so sure about carnival. I actually enjoy a day or two of rough waves. It reminds a person that they're on a boat!! Any insight?

well we are leaving on Sunday and heading for the carribean the same time Tomas will be barreling through...It will probably head back to the north atlantic by next week...worry about us, you will be fine

We're leaving on the Liberty next Saturday...I'm hoping we can visit all the ports on our itinerary. I have been re-assured that Carnival will keep us out of harm's way. CCL will adjust the itinerary to stay away from the storm.

 

I'm hoping everything blows over by then - which I think it will.

Thanks guys!! I appreciate it . I plan to take a lot of pics of valor and views from my wife and I's balcony. We have an aft wrap and I can't wait!! Lol. I feel better now.
