  1. Not to mention the states with the most popular embark ports (Florida, Texas, and California) are experiencing a surge of cases.
  2. I'm so happy for the New York area! I don't think you'd want an influx of people from other states descending on New York right now. Half of the US states are experiencing an increase in cases since opening back up, sadly.
  3. I have not read through all the responses here, but with cases rising in many embark states (Florida, Texas, California), it's very understandable why CLIA is voluntarily extending the pause.
  4. I agree. They've added a guarantee option, where it doesn't belong. I can certainly see where the OP could get the wrong impression.
  5. Room type just means “interior” in this case. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of someone being given a Havana cabin via a guarantee booking. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  6. You will more than likely not be booked in a Havana interior. They often sell out quickly.
  7. Canada is not under "English rule". We have our own Constitution, parliament, laws, etc. We are still members of the British Commonwealth, however (as is Australia, New Zealand, etc.). I will agree with you, however, that Canadians are more apt to follow rules (although some will not). We are more trusting of our government and health officials. 8. I booked a 2022 cruise for $100. Feeling like that's a pretty safe bet.
  9. John Heald and Matt Mitcham are posting updates as well. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  10. Per John Heald... CARNIVAL PANORAMA MARCH 7, 2020 March 7, 2020 Dear Carnival Panorama Guests, We want to provide you with an update for our embarkation plans for today. There is a medical matter involving a guest currently on board that has caused authorities to suspend the debarkation process. Although the guest in question does not meet CDC criteria for coronavirus risk, officials still require additional information. Our shore side medical team is in direct contact with authorities and debarkation will resume as soon as we have received clearance from local authorities. At this time, we do not have an estimate as to when embarkation for today's cruise will start. Since we have limited seating, please do not proceed to the cruise terminal until you have heard from us. A US$15, per person, lunch credit will be posted on your Sail & Sign account so you can enjoy lunch on us during this delay. We will keep you updated as we have more information. All future updates will be by text. If you haven't already done so, we kindly ask that you sign up by texting CCL3 to 278473 (CRUISE). We sincerely apologize for this delay and thank you for your understanding. I will keep you informed

  12. Looks like we’re both sailing the Horizon in April 2021 - and in the Havana area! Bit the bullet and booked a Havana aft cabin, as all the interiors were booked. You’ll love it! See you around the pool and bar!
  13. My brother snapped a pic of the Gem from his rental in Zihuatanejo. Thought you'd like to see it.
  14. We are saddened to report that Christopher ‘Topher’ Columbus dug his last hole on our beach and had his last cheeseburger at Jack’s Shack today Our loyal best friend, companion and canine ambassador of good will left us tonight He was fine all day, jumped into the car to come home but went under the deck at dinner time to pass away quietly Topher gave us all a wonderful 12 years and will watch over us from above We can all remember our good times with Topher through his many photos on the Internet may he enjoy his new beach Jack
  15. Yay! Looking forward to this live review! Happy Thanksgiving, Sid.
  16. If you look at the list of all your cruises, you'll see we were all given 15 days for that sailing.
  17. We had a great time, regardless. Captain kept us all safe, and at least for my friends and I, we thoroughly enjoyed an extra day onboard. Loved the Pride too!
  18. Underground condominiums sounds like something Sunny Liston would say. He's an awesome tour operator in St. Thomas.
  19. The convertible bunk is a pullman bed, pictured here:
  20. We were in the same situation in the Paradise. We asked our room steward to bring us night tables. They brought us metal tables, which worked well 🙂
  21. We're booked on the Horizon for the ABC cruise! We loved the Vista and Havana area, so really looking forward to the Horizon!
