Aft Cabin on Deck 7 on Splendor?

Anyone have any input on being on Deck 7 with an Aft balcony on the Splendor. I have gone back and forth about doing an aft balcony, worried about engine noise or noise from the Lido deck, or maybe the movement up and down in rough waters. I gambled and went ahead and booked it, hoping that I didn't screw up. This is my second voyage on the Splendor (last time was balcony midship, deck 7 - was great except for the balcony seemed small). This is my gf's first cruise, and I want it to be a good experience. I am a believer in seabands after the first cruise, so have told her to put one on and keep it on, even in the shower!

You shouldn't be able to hear engine noise...especially 7 decks up! Most folks love aft cabins because of the deeper balconies (on most ships).

yes--if it's rough, there may be more motion, but you won't be in your cabin 24/7, anyway!
