Cruise ship zip line excursions in PV?

We are on the Sapphire Princess over new years and will be in PV on Jan 1st. Wanted to do zip line, and were thinking of Los Veranos. They are closed on Jan 1st. Princess has a zip line shore excursion. Any one of you done the Princess zip line excursion in PV, and how'd you like it?

The excursion is provided by Vallarta Adventures. While it has been seven years since I did their canopy/zipline excursion, they were starting construction of the expanded "Canopy Adventure Park" at that time and the grounds could only improve.

 

We had a great time. They do a true canopy adventure where the ziplines go from tree-top platform to tree-top platform. (as compared to land based stations used on most zipline excursions like Los Veranos.)

 

Marilyn has a morbid fear of heights. She found that the Vallarta canopy tour was a little too much for her :eek: as you spend almost all your time high off the ground. Los Veranos, which we have done three times, has higher and longer lines but also started and finished most lines on terra firma. That seemed to make all the difference in the world to her. :p

 

The ship's excursion will cost a little more than what resort/hotel guests pay but you will have a great time as Vallarta Adventure only does first class excursions.
