susiesan Posted November 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2010 The article says these upgrades will be applied to Regatta, Insignia, and Nautica in spring 2011. I will be sailing on Regatta Feb. 25. When is O's definition of spring?
Leonid Posted November 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2010 Probably the same definition we all use...late March.

A Knitter Posted November 3, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted November 3, 2010 Oceania declines option to build third ship This was also on the same newsletter By: Johanna JainchillNovember 02, 2010 Oceania Cruises did not exercise its option to build a third Oceania-class ship. In March 2007, Oceania commissioned Italian shipyard Fincantieri to build two $500 million, 1,258-passenger ships with an option for a third. One year ago, Fincantieri agreed to give Oceania a 12-month extension to decide whether to build the third vessel; the option expired in October. The first Oceania-class ship, the Marina, is scheduled to enter service in February. The Riviera is slated to debut in 2012. Oceania declined to comment on why they are not building a third one
IguanaJ Posted November 3, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2010 Further reading in that site indicated Nautica is done, Insignia in November and Regatta is due for drydock upgrades in January. Looking forward to the upgrades when we go again next fall.
