Hotels?

Thanks for the info!!!!
The hotels that have been recommended are not in LA. They're in San Pedro, at the Port of Los Angeles, which is about 30 - 40 minutes away from LAX. Just so you know.

 

Princess offers a pre-cruise stay at the LAX Marriott that includes transportation to the ship. It's very reasonable.

Many going on cruises out of the Port of LA (San Pedro) will stay in San Pedro, especially at these two hotels, as they will be a short distance from the port when they get up on their embarkation day. Also, if you want to get some wine, soda, or any necessities that you didn't want to take on your flight, you can take care of that shopping trip the afternoon prior or in the morning. Apparently the CP or Doubletree (or both hotels) will also shuttle you to local stores for that purpose.

 

With the airport hotels, you won't feel safe walking around that area. So if you want to run errands, you'll need to get a taxi.
