Re: Majesty Cabin 6020

We were able to get a cabin on the April 16th Exotic Carribean Cruise out of Charleston, SC on the Majesty. Unfortunately for us, the only cabins left were interior cabins, and only a few of these. We agreed to Cabin 6020, and were wondering if anyone out there had a cabin similar to this. If so, what is the cabin like, do the beds fit together to make a queen and how much closet space is there, etc....? (this is 15 nights, so need a "few" things to wear...: )). Thanks a bunch,

We had 7001 a couple weeks ago... one deck up. Ours had one queen bed at the end of the cabin. I think it was very comfortable. 6020 is the same category as ours was, according to the NCL site, but the bed configuration appears different - may be two beds that can optionally be made into one.

I was in room 6022 a few years ago on a Boston to Bermuda. We actually had a roll away in the three person room. That was my only objection. It was tight. I can't remember why the beds can't be pushed together but of course with the roll away in the middle we couldn't have anyway. We had no problems with noise from the casino or anywhere else.

Storage is tight but we did have four in the room, though two were kids.

Another thing that saves us room is that we really don't do any of the formal nights. We like that about the freestyle but we used to like the dress up too.

I think you'll be a little tight but I'm jealous that you're going.

Beechnut- My husband and I are booked on that same cruise, same type of cabin on the same deck... I can hardly wait. If you go over to the Roll Calls NCL Forum and find the thread 'Majesty Repositioning cruise April 2005' You will find some info about the cabins.

Hope it helps,

Lisa

Hi Beachnut

If you go to Noweigen Roll Call at the bottom you should be able to find the rest of the gang at Majesty Repo April 2005. Most are from New England and Lisaxx has joined us from CA.

I am also on the 6th deck but picked a room facing the other direction. Not sure if it makes any difference in the way they are set up but wanted to cruise in the same direction I went last time.

I just tried to move the postings up. If you can't find us just type Majesty repo in the search on the right top corner! Want to make sure that Meredith has you and your cabin number in the count when she contacts NCL. We plan to meet sometime on the 17th and possibly meet some of the officials from the Majesty.
