Where is this in reference to the beach in front of the ship? Thanks. Hi, I'm attaching a picture that was taken from the ship of the general area of where the conch graveyard is. If you are on the ship and looking at Grand Turk, the conch graveyard is to the right, just past the smaller pier and near the "point". The second picture is of White Sands Beach, which is around the point, where there are still many conch shells all over the beach and in the water. Hope this helps. :)
carib123 Posted November 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 13, 2010 Also we were told that a good place to find conchs is around the cruise ship pier, as people plan to take them on the ship, but at the last moment toss them back in the water. pghsteelerfan Posted November 23, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2010 How long is the walk? It would probably be about 10 minutes, but it took us longer since we were (well, I was) taking time looking for a shell at the conch graveyard and taking pictures of the ship and the scenery there.
