B2B Questions

We have done about 6 back to backs now. It is key to compare the two 7 day cruises to a 14 day cruise.

- compare price

- for two 7 days you get two fcc (for inside it would be $25 each or $50 total, but for one 14 day cruise it would be $75 each or $150 total)

- stock credit for one 14 day cruise would be $250, two 7 days would be $200

- loyalty credit after your 20th cruise would give you $25 per cruise

- 14 day cruise counts as only one sailing as two 7 days would be 2 (maybe will move you up to next level)

- two mini bar set ups instead of one

- on board credit or other perks (like coupon book, or wine, or photo) from TA, if you book as two separate cruises you would get two gifts instead of one

Normally for 2 - 7 day cruises it could be better to book as one 14 day cruise, but I know for our upcoming 2 - 10 day cruises, it is much better for us to book as two separate voyages. Stock credit for us is $100 each sailing instead of the $250 for 20 days, but we make up for it with the fcc, for which we get $200 for the 2 voyages as oppose to $150 for one voyage. Also we get the $25 loyalty credit for each sailing (total $50) instead of only $25 for one voyage. Plus TA was offerring $85 obc for each 10 day voyage, but nothing for the 20 day voyage (odd I know).

Normally a few days before the turn around day you will get your new cruise cards and a time to meet on that day, usually around 9:30 am in one of the lounges. You are required to get off the ship so the ship is at 0 occupancy, you may need to clear customs and then you can come right back on. Normally this only takes about a half hour in total. It is a great feeling having the ship to yourselves (sort of)

enjoy

Another thing that I have done on the turnaround day is the laundry. If you have to do laundry over your cruise, the turnaround day is great - no one doing laundry, so you can get in and our quickly.

That depends on the itinerary. If there are a lot of B2Bers, then be prepared to fight for the washers & dryers. If there aren't a lot of B2Bers, then do the laundry before all the other passengers board. Once they're onboard, the laundry can get really packed on itineraries where many people have had pre-cruise stays (especially in Europe).
