megwal86 Posted November 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2010 Just off Nov.3 Sunfarer cruise and it was fantastic. In contrast to some reviews we found the ship in great shpe.Food in MDR and Pinnacle Grill was far above average.Service was excellent.Yes,the demographics was a bit older, but friendliness and good conversation was abundant.Cannot say enough about the linens and comfort of the beds. After four trips on RCCL,and four on HAL we have committed to those "DAM" ships. The Canal was the highlight.Took the Canal Experience tour.Although long and hot,it was well worth it.As for the Panama Buns,well......Will be glad to answer any questions re:this cruise. SwissMyst Posted November 18, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 18, 2010 Getting ready to head down that same way on the Statendam. How were the seas? Smooth sailing or some rough patches. In other words, should I start my Bonine the night before regardless? :p
